Frequent Dispatch Programme Terms and Conditions

The Programme

1.    These Terms and Conditions apply to the provision of the YCD Frequent Dispatch Programme by Your Company Dispatch Ltd a company registered in England and Wales under number 10628247 whose registered office is at Queens Court, 9 – 17 Eastern Road, Romford, Greater London, RM1 3NH (we or us) to the person registered to the programme (you).

2.    You are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions when you register to the programme or from the date of any performance of Services (whichever happens earlier) and these Terms and Conditions and our quotation (the Contract) between us.

3.    You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation made or given by or on our behalf. These Conditions apply to the Contract to the exclusion of any other terms that you try to impose or incorporate, or which are implied by trade, custom, practice or course of dealing.

4.    These terms and conditions are applicable across the entire YCD Frequent Dispatch Programme and any participation is considered as acceptance. 

5.    The YCD Frequent Dispatch Programme is regulated by YCD which may, at any time, terminate the programme or alter or amend the conditions of operation of the programme.

6.    YCD Account holders which YCD deem to be ‘Contractors’ i.e. fellow Courier Companies, are not eligible to become members of the YCD Frequent Dispatch Programme. 

7.    All members of the programme must be resident in the UK.

8.    YCD Account holders are limited to one membership YCD Frequent Dispatch Account programme. YCD reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional memberships at any time.

9.    Members must keep YCD informed of any changes. YCD cannot be held responsible for any loss of points or vouchers incurred as a result of out of date details. Accounts with out of date details that have not been updated for three years will be removed and any points forfeited.

10.    Any participation in the programme which is above and beyond what could objectively be considered consumer behaviour may be considered as abuse of the programme.


11.    YCD may decline to issue, withdraw or cancel a membership from the programme at any time where there is reasonable belief of any abuse or attempted abuse of the programme; any breach or attempted breach of these terms and conditions and / or those relating to the optional elements of the programme; any behaviour relating to YCD that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behaviour, or supplying false or misleading information.

12.    The YCD Frequent Dispatch Programme is for Business use only. YCD Frequent Dispatch Programme memberships cannot be used for any personal transaction or purpose.

13.    Two or more branches of the same business may merge their membership together. When either member provides or updates information relating to the joint membership they must have the consent of the other member to do so and for us to use this information in accordance with the terms and conditions of the programme. YCD cannot be held responsible for any loss to either member as a result of the other member providing or updating information relating to the joint membership. 

14.    Joint memberships may be split into single membership by either member and any points accrued will be divided based on the branch with which they were originally earned. YCD will take no responsibility for the allocation of points that have already been issued.

15.    Members may be able to express a preference for their statement and, where we have their consent, other YCD mailings, to be sent to their registered email address. We will endeavour to respect this preference but reserve the right to send these to the member's registered postal address without prior notification to the member. This may be necessary for business or policy reasons, or where there are problems with the registered email address provided by the member.

16.    Members can choose to leave the programme at any time. By leaving the programme members forfeit the right to any points or credit note already accrued or issued.

17.    Frequent Dispatch Programme members who are inactive for three years will be removed from the programme. The relevant member will need to reapply for new membership should they wish to re-join.


Points 

 

18.  YCD Dispatch Programme Members will automatically receive YCD Frequent Dispatch Points after every completed booking made through their YCD Account.

19.  Points will not be awarded for non-qualifying deliveries which are as follows:


a.    Multi-drop deliveries. 


b.    Subcontracted deliveries i.e. deliveries YCD carry out on behalf of fellow Courier Companies.


c.    Other types of deliveries may also be excluded from the programme at the discretion of YCD.

20.  Frequent Dispatch Points, in whatever form, are not transferable, cannot be copied and can only be used by the Business named and registered with the programme. YCD Frequent Dispatch Programme memberships can only be used by nominated staff of the YCD Account.

21.  YCD Frequent Dispatch points cannot be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded.

22.  YCD Frequent Dispatch Points can only be used for bookings with YCD.

23.    Points awarded for booking made in conjunction with other YCD promotional offers may have a reduced points value. 

24.    YCD is entitled to remove points at any time if for any reason a full or partial refund of a booking is given. This also applies to any updates made to a booking, unless the updates do not affect the original number of points awarded.

25.    Points awarded at the time of the transaction may be removed or cancelled if YCD determines that the points were collected in breach of these terms and conditions or were awarded in error. For the avoidance of doubt, any advice or actions of our staff that is contrary to these terms and conditions will not have the effect of changing these terms and conditions.

26. Points have no monetary value until converted into a credit note upon redemption. The current conversion value of points is 1 point equals £0.02p. Points expiry at the end of each collection period. 

27. Collection periods are as follows:

  • 1st January - 30th June

  • 1st July       - 31st December​

28. Members must earn a minimum of 500 Frequent Dispatch Points within a collection period to be eligible for redemption. After the first redemption, the minimum points threshold no longer applies until the next collection period.

 

29. Members can earn a maximum of 10,000 points in any one collection period.

 

30. Points expiry dates are on the 30th June and the 31st December regardless of the date from which a member registers to the programme.

 

31. YCD is under no obligation to award YCD Frequent Dispatch Points for any reason outside of qualifying transactions.
